Shri Vijay Mahantesh Ayurvedic Medical College of Shri Vijay Mahantesh Vidya Vardhak Sanghss Ilkal is one of the premiers Institution of Ayurveda in the North Karnataka, with a view of giving knowledge of Ayurveda to the rural part of Karnataka. It was established in 1992. Earlier it was affiliated to Karnataka University, then to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in 1996.
