Today TSMU has 6 faculties - medical, dental, pediatric, pharmaceutical, and higher nursing education, as well as postgraduate education and a preparatory department for foreign citizens. Postgraduate and further education in one of the areas of medicine is implemented in residency, and training of highly qualified doctors and teachers is through postgraduate and doctoral studies.
