Gono University (GU) is a private Veterinary college located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. "Gono University" offers 5.5 years Veterinary course approved by UGC Of Bangladesh, Govt. of Bangladesh. Affiliated by the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh, recognized by University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC).

A university with a difference- has been established to provide a high quality of education to meet the demands of the modern age. The objective of the Gono Bishwabidyalay is to foster the national and global development process through the creation of a centre of excellence in higher education that is responsive to society’s needs, particularly social development and human welfare. And to produce highly skilled manpower, visionary leaders and enlightened citizen by imparting high quality higher education and training so that individuals can achieve their intellectual, social, and personal potentials.

The faculty intends to educate students with the necessary knowledge of Veterinary & Animal sciences and helps them to be skilled to enter any research or institutions of the related fields. Now, a number of students are studying in the B.Sc (Vet Sc & AH) programs. We have sufficient number of sincere, proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and experienced faculty members from different national and international institutions/universities.We have also some brilliant and renowned/eminent visiting/guest professors, whose engagement justifies our commitment to quality education. All faculty members are actively engaged in research and professional activities. We are committed to promote high quality education and research with the maximum use of our facilities. In addition, we collaborate with other laboratories of different universities and research institutions for conducting research for our students.
